Nancy D. Hayes is a partner at Carter, Hayes + Associates, P.C. Nancy has extensive experience in providing comprehensive services to not-for-profit organizations and closely held companies. Her clientele include construction, not-for-profit, manufacturing and service organizations. In addition to providing traditional audit, accounting and tax services, Ms. Hayes has assisted clients with obtaining financing, business valuations, buy and sell agreements, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow projections, business plans, obtaining construction bonds and profit analysis. She provides controllership services to both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, overseeing their accounting departments during periods of transition.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, Nancy D. Hayes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She started her public accounting career with Siskin, Shapiro & Company in Hartford, which later merged with Coopers & Lybrand. She then spent five years at Cahill, Larkin & Company (presently merged with the firms of Arthur Andersen & Company and McGladrey & Pullen) in Hartford and New Haven.
Ms. Hayes is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, presently serving as a member and past chair of the Peer Review Committee. In addition, she is currently the fiscal officer of CTAEYC and in the recent past, Nancy was the treasurer of the Friends of the Clinton Youth and Family Services Bureau, Inc. Nancy has also taught courses on bookkeeping, the preparation of business plans and starting a small business.

David A. Scaramozza is a partner at Carter, Hayes + Associates, P.C. and is responsible for logistics and supervision of staff as they perform audit and accounting engagements.
David A. Scaramozza graduated cum laude from Northeastern University earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Through Northeastern’s cooperative education program, Mr. Scaramozza worked four tax seasons with the firm of Bailey, Moore, Glazer, Schaefer & Proto, CPA in Woodbridge. Upon graduation, he accepted a position with Carter, Hayes + Associates, P.C. as a staff accountant.
Mr. Scaramozza has a strong background in audit, accounting and tax services. He provides clients with management advisory services including interviewing and selecting financial personnel, designing and implementing accounting systems, and establishing and improving internal controls. His clientele include not-for-profit, construction, manufacturing and service organizations and low-income housing developers.
Mr. Scaramozza is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, serving for several years on the Not-for-Profit Organizations Administrative Committee of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. In the past, David has spoken at various business and civic organization seminars and events on the subject of starting a business and small business accounting.

Amy Wild provides accounting, tax and business consulting services. She has worked extensively with nonprofits and for-profit enterprises by providing outsourced accounting services and traditional compilations, review and audits of financial statements. Ms. Wild has substantial knowledge of corporate, nonprofit and individiual tax concepts. She also helps many organizations understand the many nuances of their accounting software and how to get the most out of it.
Ms. Wild is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in accounting from the Southern Connecticut State University .
